Inquiry-Based Exploration
Children spend time outside, exploring and asking questions about what they see. Based on their interests, we may learn about storm drains, how birds build nests, or what an ant colony looks like. Kids will explore the world, ask questions, and help each other answer them through student-led, inquiry-based exploration and play, inspired by the Reggio Approach.
-
Community & Friendships
This camp is designed for safety, community building and friendship. We are only enrolling 8 kids. With a robust social emotional and executive functioning curriculum, children will learn about their community and each other, how to problem solve, and be kind friends.

Nature-Based Camp
To understand nature and ecosystems, it helps to be immersed in it. This camp will outdoors as much as possible- including lunch on the picnic tables in our backyard, and designing a nature playground.

What’s special about our Summer Camp?
Our nature-based camp will explore the outdoors, project-based learning to learn how to be good stewards of the earth, as well as engineering, artistic expression, and inquiry-inspired play. We will include mathematics, reading, and writing to maintain or grow skill levels throughout the summer.
Our camp will be a small group of children , allowing deep friendships and community-building. We are a play-based school and believe children are driven to explore and learn within their community.
